Product Overview

The dissolved air tank is a crucial piece of equipment in the pressurized dissolved air flotation purification process. It is used to fully dissolve compressed air in pressurized water through diffusion, dissolution, and mass transfer processes, forming dissolved air water. In the flotation process, the pressurized dissolved air water is abruptly reduced to atmospheric pressure through a release device. The air dissolved in the water precipitates out as tiny bubbles, carrying suspended particles in the wastewater to the surface, thus achieving solid-liquid separation.

Features

The dissolved air tank is a key piece of equipment in the pressurized dissolved air flotation purification process. Compressed air and pressurized water undergo diffusion, dissolution, and mass transfer within the tank, dissolving a large amount of air into the water. The interior of the dissolved air tank typically contains perforated plates and packing materials such as stepped rings, Raschig rings, and multi-faceted hollow spheres. Externally, it consists of an inlet, an air inlet, an exhaust safety valve interface, a sight glass, a pressure gauge interface, an exhaust port, a level gauge, an outlet, and a manhole.

The dissolved air tank boasts a dissolved air efficiency of up to 98%, a large water flow rate, and a tank cross-sectional load factor of up to 5000 m³/m²·d. Equipped with a water level gauge for easy operation and management, it saves on air compressor energy consumption and features low water distribution resistance to conserve electricity. Pressure dissolved air tanks must be designed and manufactured according to Class I pressure vessel standards.
